General Information

The „XXIII. Tage der Seltenen Erden“ will take place from October 6th to October 8th, 2010, at the Universität Bayreuth. The campus is easily reached by public transportation (Bushaltestelle Universität, see "Getting there and around"), and ample parking space is provided. The city of Bayreuth has several reasonably priced accomodations (see “Accomodation”).

The program structure will be as follows:
We will start with the conference on October 6th at 16:00h. A PL and two KL are given at the first evening. Afterwards, there will be a poster session (posters should be up the whole duration of the conference) followed by a reception. On October 7th, we will continue the program from 9:00h on. In the evening, there will be a poster session followed by a conference dinner. During this event, the award Terrae Rarae 2010 will be presented. On Ocotber 8th, 2010, from 9:00h to about noon, there will be both invited and contributed talks. There will be no conference fee.

Contributions, both oral and poster, are welcome. Please use the "registration form". Together with that form we ask for an abstract (see sample abstract for formatting etc.). Deadline for the submission of abstracts is September 15, 2010.

September 15, 2010 is also the deadline for registration.
