The XXVII. Tage der Seltenen Erden“ will take place from July 26th to July 29th, 2016, at the Magnetic Island, Qld, Australia (just off the coast of Townsville). The island is easily reached by public transportation and Sealink ferry, see "Getting there").
Accommodation is recommended in the Arcadia Hotel, the site of the conference, but there are other forms of accommodation on the island (see “Accommodation”).
The program structure will be as follows:
We will start with the
conference on July 26th at 16:00h. A Plenary lecture will be held on the
first evening. Afterwards, there will be a BBQ reception. On July 27th, we
will continue the program from 8.30am onwards. In the evening, we will have
a poster session followed by free time. On July 28th, from 8.30h to about
afternoon, there will be both invited and contributed talks. Afterwards we
will have an informal conference dinner (information will be forwarded in
due course). On July 29th from 8.30am to around noon we will have oral
presentations.
Contributions, both oral and poster, are welcome. Please use the
registration form. Together with that form we ask for an abstract (see
sample abstract for formatting etc.). Deadline for the submission of
abstracts is May 31, 2016.
