The Faculty and their research interests

The International Graduate School in Genetics and Functional Genomics and its follow up program - the International Graduate School in Development Health and Disease offer the most stimulating and productive research environment, characterized by a high degree of interdisciplinarity.

Almost all major animal, plant and microbial model systems are represented in the different groups. Research projects focus on cellular, molecular, developmental, physiological, neuro- and evolutionary genetics and genomics.

A short overview about the IGS GFG faculty and their areas of research is provided in the table below. To learn more about the profile of the different groups, simply click on the research description.
