How to find us:

b) from airport Köln/Bonn. Take train (S-Bahn #12 or #13) to Köln central station. Then, see below.

c) with taxi from central station Leave central station through exit "Breslauer Platz"(see signs). Find taxis to your left. Costs should be not more than 10 - 15 Euro. Service is included. Tips are not required but accepted. You may ask for a receipt ("Quittung"). 

d) with tram from central station Within central station (direction: Dom not Breslauer Platz, see signs) you will find stairs leading down to the subway ("U"). On your way to the trains there is a ticket booth on the left. See sign on platform indicating next trains to come. You need a ticket "Cityticket", presently EUR 2,40). Stamp ticket in orange box on your way. Alternatively, you can buy ticket in the train (in this case no need for stamping, machine will change coins). Choose stairs leading to the platform in direction to "Neumarkt". Not all trains arriving there may go to "Neumarkt". See sign on platform indicating next trains to come. Go 2 stops to "Neumarkt". Walk back to stairs. At the end of escalator go straight on and find exit on the left with tram sign "1" and "9". Take escalator to surface and wait for tram # 9  (direction "Sülz" or "Universität"). See sign on platform indicating next trains to come. Your subway ticket remains valid, no additional stamping. Go 4 stops to "Südbahnhof" (each stop is usually announced and shown visually in the front area of each waggon. After leaving the train go a few meters in the same direction, turn left and find our cozy home after passing the Insitute of Genetics on the left side (second floor). Travel time from central station about 25-30 min.
