Forschungsprojekte
Current work focus on the structural and functional characterisation of these novel members. Special emphasis is placed on their potential function in the nervous system.
Ongoing projects include:
  1. Analysis of the expression pattern in adult mice and during development.
  2. Biochemical analysis of recombinant and native proteins.
  3. In vitro studies concerning the potential role of the proteins in neurogenetic processes like neurite growth.
  4. Inactivation of individual proteins in the mouse by means of gene targeting.
