Our workgroup has been established by the Medical Faculty of the University of Cologne and is situated at its Center for Biochemistry. State of the art technologies for biochemistry, molecular and cell biology are available or accessible through the Service Laboratory of the Center of Molecular Medicine Cologne (CMMC) or through collaboration with other groups at the Campus of the University (Center for Experimental Medicine, CECAD: Cologne Excellence Cluster on Cellular Stress Responses in Aging-associated Diseases).

We actively participate with project B12 in the Collaborative Research Centre 829 "Molecular mechanisms regulating skin homeostasis"
