Lectures and courses for Prosthetic Dentistry (clinical section of dental semesters)

For the 1st and 2nd clinical semesters, the lectures for prosthetic dentistry will be held at the big lecture hall at the School of Oral and Dental medicine, on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 to 12 o’clock.

The pre-requisite for joining the practical courses for prosthetic dentistry in the 3rd and 5th clinical semesters is the proof of essential knowledge by means of a practical and theoretical interim exam (preparatory course). For students participating in the prosthetic dentistry courses I and II, this will be held in the 1st week according to the commencement. The exact dates and terms of participation will be precociously revealed and posted on the black bulletin board.

Only those students who have successfully completed the preparatory course (programmed briefings, practical exercises, demonstrations and exam) will be allowed to treat a patient. The course syllabus, length and duration are determined according the guidelines set forth by the German Society of Prosthetic Dentistry and Dental Materials (DGZPW).
