Bachelor „Sprachen und Kulturen Afrikas“

The BA or bachelor program "Languages and Cultures of Africa" introduces the students into the fields of linguistics and culture scientific with a focus on Africa, including Egypt. Study contents center on descriptive and comparative linguistics, but also on the cultural history of the Nile valley, as well as on the culture science related to Africa. In this program, students acquire at least one African language.

Master „Sprach- und Kulturtransfer in Afrika“

The MA or master program "Language Transfer and Culture Transfer in Africa" combines the two disciplines Afrikanistik and Egyptology and offers a historical as well as linguistic perspectives on the African continent and its past. This innovative approach allows for a thorough study for African cultures and history.

Nebenfach „Sprachen und Kulturen Afrikas“ im Bachelor „Geographie“

The minor program "Languages and Cultures of Africa" is open to students of the Bachelor Science program Geography, and requires the permission by the "Prüfungsamt der Geographie”.
