Political scientist with expertise in academic research on policy reform, good governance, development studies, collapsed states and internal conflicts, war economies and post-conflict reconstruction; experience includes 23 years in private and academic sector, serving in management leadership positions as well as a Lecturer in International Relations and Foreign Policy Analysis. Several research publications and conference lectures on collapsed states, conflict management, international political economy, and policy formulation and management. Academic experience in Europe since 1996 after preparatory studies in German language preceded by business career in Nigeria. Fluent in English, Igbo and German, with a basic knowledge of French.

  • Researches and publishes on Governance and Security Issues in West Africa
  • Recommends measures for post-conflict reconstruction
  • Assists in the design of curriculum methodology for courses
  • Analyzes and evaluates international environment and its impact on political, economic, and social change in Africa
  • Organizes conferences on issues of governance, development and the state in Africa
  • Established a Working Group on the Transformation of Political Order at the Chair of International Relations, University of Cologne
