• Getting to Cologne
The university's homepage contains detailed travel directions. To our speakers: We'll send an email with detailed directions to the conference venue and hotel roughly 2 weeks prior to the event.

• Airports: The closest airports are Köln-Bonn Airport and Düsseldorf International. From Köln-Bonn, take the train S13 to Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station; 15 minutes). From the Düsseldorf Airport station, trains go to Cologne frequently (appr. 40-60 minutes). For international flights, Frankfurt Airport might also be worth considering. For train connections to Cologne, please visit the homepage of the Deutsche Bahn.

• Finding Hotels in Cologne
Hotels can be found via the search engine of the Cologne Tourist Board.

• Technical Equipment
The auditorium will be equipped with an LCD projector, speakers, and a Windows notebook with MS Office 2007. Should you require further equipment for your presentation, please contact us. If you are planning to use your own notebook, please make sure that you bring all the necessary adapters (electricity, VGA, etc.).
