Given the interdisciplinarity and diversity of phonetics you will find books relating to:
phonetics and phonology, linguistics, monographs on individual languages, anatomy, physiology and pathology of the organs involved in speech, language psychology and philosophy, physics, mathematics, statistics, and computer programming.

Literature research:

Our institute is involved in the "Dezentrale Katalogisierung" (decentralized catalogue) project so that our entire inventory since 1989 can be located via computer.
