The zonoid regions of an empirical distribution
got many applications in multivariate statistical analysis.
You can try calculating zonoid trimmed regions using R
(see more about R)
package that we have developed.
To download the latest version of the package press here:

Having downloaded, install the package on your machine (choose installation from a local zip-file option in your R environment).
Then it can be loaded like a standard package (with name 'zonoid').

The program takes input data from a file. A sample input file:
