JFC-Lecture

Each year, the Junior Faculty Club invites postdoctoral researchers and interested members from all faculties to a lecture. Various topics are addressed with the aim of fostering an engaging exchange among representatives of different disciplines.

JFC Lecture 2025: Career Paths in Academia – Many Roads Lead to a Professorship
Date and Time: 28 October 2025, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Venue: International House of the UzK, Kringsweg 6, 50931 Cologne

As part of this year’s JFC Lecture, three researchers and a representative of the German Association of University Professors and Lecturers (DHV) will share insights into their individual career paths and experiences in academia. The event is open to everyone interested in learning more about different academic career paths and the diverse routes that can lead to a professorship.

Following the presentations, a get-together will provide an opportunity for personal exchange and networking.
