The University of Cologne has been accepted as a new member of the German-Colombian Peace Institute (Instituto Colombo-Alemán para la Paz - CAPAZ). This was unanimously approved by the partner universities of the Instiuto CAPAZ. The spokesperson for the University of Cologne in the CAPAZ consortium is Prof. Gesine Müller, Professor of Romance Philology at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
The German-Colombian Peace Institute CAPAZ brings together academics and universities from Colombia and Germany in the fields of peace research, coming to terms with the past, remembrance culture, conflict prevention and shaping a post-conflict society.
