Change at Köln Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) to a local train that takes you to Köln-Süd (Cologne South). Trains usually departure from platform 8 or 9. After arriving at Köln-Süd (second stop from Main Station) walk in the direction of the train, leave the station, and enter Otto-Fischer-Str. to the right. When crossing the Luxemburger Wall you will see the park. Before the park you will find the institute at the right hand side.
By tram:
As an alternative you can take the tram 18 from Main Station and get out at "Eifelwall". From there you can walk through the park to Otto-Fischer-Str. You will find the institute at the right hand side.
