Miss Clara Weith.
Dear Madam.
I trust you will pardon me for taking the liberty of writing to you but I should like to express my admiration of your splendid acting in the picture »The House of Fatal Love« just received in this town.
I am a keen follower of the cinematograph and am especially fond of Nordisk Films as I am sure they come as a welcome change to us people in England because the films received here are mostly American and I assure you that I for one get heartily sick of them hence the writing to you.
I used to make a special point of seeing Nordisk Pictures before the war and am afraid I missed them during that period but I am hoping to renew old film acquaintances once more now they are arriving here. I may add that this is the first one I have seen since 1914, so you can tell how delighted I was to see a reappearance.
Would it be asking too much of a favour off you, for one of your autographed photos, which I should esteem and honour I assure you.
Trusting that you will pardon me if I have taken any liberties in this letter, and wishing you all future success, thanking you in the anticipation of a reply
I am Madam
Yours very truly
