The soil potential map was derived from the original soil map provided by Marina Coetzee of the AEZ project of |
compilation: |
Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development. It is based on the assumption that polygons where the dominant |
|
soils are chromic Cambisols, haplic Calcisols or eutric Cambisols have no constraints for agronomy. Polygons with |
|
associated soils which are chromic Cambisols or haplic Calcisols are given an intermediate classification. All other polygons are excluded. |
