The upcoming Winter School on “The Future of Integrated Water Management: Circular Solutions and Sustainable Practices” is taking place at the University of Cologne from 24th to 28th November 2025 as part of our GIANT (German Indian Academic Network for Tomorrow) project.
The Winter School brings together international colleagues from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore, India, and students from the University of Cologne. Alongside keynote lectures and engaging workshops on pollution, waste water recycling and water-energy nexus, we have also planned an exciting one-day fieldwork activity at the Metabolon in Lindlar and social events like a visit to the Cologne Christmas markets.
Participation in this one-week program includes coffee breaks and lunch tickets for the Mensa, provided by the organizers.
We have 20 places available for participants from Cologne, alongside 10 Indian PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
