A short note:
For various reasons, I haven't been able to update these pages for quite some time - and it seems unlikely that I will find a reasonable amount of time to do so in the future. Fortunately, Jeanette Winterson has announced to set up an "all-singing all-dancing website" herself (see below). Once the new website is up and running, I intend to take my pages off-line. For the time being, if you're looking for updated information and links, please check Anna Troberg's Winterson site or the Winterson mailing list.

• Jeanette Winterson has won "back" her .com-Domain! As a result, JeanetteWinterson.com will launch September 3, 2000. Now there's something to look forward to...
  
  
• Jeanette Winterson's new novel "The Powerbook" will be released October 24, 2000. If you search for the title at Amazon.com they also recommend - next to "Gut Symmetries" and "Oranges" - the "Powerbook SCSI Adapter Block, HDI 30M/DB25F".
  Please don't miss the description for that item:
  It "converts a HDI30 female PowerBook SCSI port to a DB25 SCSI port. Permits an Apple SCSI system cable with a DB25 male connector to interface with a PowerBook computer."
  Oh, how I long to read that powerbook... ;-)
  
  
• Helene Bengtson is preparing the Winterson Circle, an "an extensive research facility for Winterson scholars". Please see the website of her small publishing company Scholar's Press for further information.
  
  
• In an article for the The London Times (March 29, 2000) Jeanette Winterson writes about trying to register her own domain. Since the .com-Domain apparently has been "kidnapped", Winterson has registered www.jeanettewinterson.co.uk. The site is not yet up, but why not bookmark it for future visits?
