German A1/A2: Travelling, Public Transport, learning German on the Go

Want to feel more confident using German while getting around Cologne or planning a trip? This A1-level course is for students who are just starting to learn German and want to build practical language skills for everyday travel situations. You’ll learn how to ask for directions, buy tickets, and use simple phrases while on the move — all in easy German you can start using right away.

What can you expect?

  • Key phrases for trains, buses, and ticket machines
  • Asking for and understanding directions
  • Talking about destinations, times, and travel plans
  • Tips for learning German in everyday situations — on the go!
  • Lots of practice: speaking, listening, short dialogues

Target group: International students with no or very limited knowledge of German (A1 level).
Language: German, short explanations in English if needed.
