Are you interested in working in a café or restaurant in Germany, but not sure how to communicate in German? This A1-level course is designed for students with little or no German knowledge who want to learn the basics for everyday work situations. You’ll practise key words and phrases to help you get started in part-time jobs in the hospitality sector.

What can you expect?

• Useful phrases for taking orders and talking to customers
• Basic vocabulary for food, drinks, and payment
• Understanding and giving simple instructions
• Practical speaking exercises in common café and restaurant scenarios

Target group: International students with no or very limited knowledge of German (A1 level).
Language: German, short explanations in English if needed.
