Interactive
constructivism is a culturally oriented brand
of constructivism developed at Cologne University
since the 1990s. It stands in close dicussion
with many other (post)modern discourses like
pragmatism, poststructuralism, and deconstructivism.
Its predominant focus is on philosophical
and educational issues. Although most publications
so far have appeared in German language, the
Cologne constructivist approach is beginning
to publish more and more materials in English,
too.
On this site you find some
basic introductions into theoretical perspectives
of interactive constructivism.
