The whole job search process would have been so much less stressful for me if I had known where exactly to look – not just general job search websites, but the websites of companies I was genuinely interested to work with. Also, I wish I had known that you don’t have to wait for the perfect job posting – you can always take the initiative and reach out with a motivational letter!
The job market is qualification-oriented, there’s a strong emphasis on certificates, degrees, and documented experience achieved while here in Germany. Navigating the market relies on what you’ve achieved and how well you can demonstrate it.
